Update Idea 4, 5, 6 & 7

Not much to talk about today, so I thought of some fun update ideas for Pocket God (P.S I finally got over 100 hits, I'm only 1/10 of the way their).

"Im On Fire!"

I really dont like the idea of an invincible pygmie who is good, so I thought of an invincible pygmie who is evil! So in this update, you tap on the sun a few times, and a fire spirit comes out and posseses a pygmie! He doesn't have any fire powers, but he is super mad and extra strong! The possesed pygmie punches the pygmies in the water, he fights the vampire, and he squishes the coconuts. He is only destroyed by being put underwater (Do you see the connection...... Water puts out fire), once underwater it shows him turning to ashes and floating to the top.

"Island Wars"

In this update, their is a boat that you tap, the pymies get in it and you start a game were you fight other Pygmies (Like in Raft Wars, the computer game). You could play against a computer or another player using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Buddy Challenges, or turn based attacks! You could buy upgrades for your ship or weapons, and you fight through levels thet will get harder. Try to get as far as you can!

"One Whale Of A Pygmie"

In this update, in the underwater area, their is a new whale shape statue that you switch with the chum bucket or the Harbour Master Anchor, and watch the Killer Whale come out and eat the Pygmies! But the Pygmies can fight back with the Brand New Harpoon Gun that will need to be reeled in by you (Just spin in a circle like in Flick Fishing)!

"Cloud 9"

In this update, players can now ascess a new cloud island called Cloud 9 (It has a 9 on the bottom close to the screen)! But things can go wrong on a nice, soft cloud..... like another egg? Drop it 3 times and watch the baby dragon come out and call its Brother! And theirs an Apple tree that has a pygmie eating worm in it! And who wants to go Fly Fishing?

Slow News Days.....

Vassup! Okay so their is not really much to post about on the blog today, except for at least 3 reasons...
1. I finally added a hit counter on my blog. I've only gotten a few hits, so please tell people to check the Blog out.

Update Idea 3

Okay this one is Going to Rock (Pun intended )! Okay this episode is called Guitar Pygmie, you toggle the minigame by going onto the menu and press on the Dancing Pygmie Icon, and it drops down a menu, in it shows a guitar that you toggle on or off. If it's on, a guitar falls from the sky, a Pygmie grabs it and starts playing a random song, but you press the buttons that come out to help out the Pygmie, the further you go, the harder it gets. After you miss 5 notes, the Pygmie playing the guitar explodes from hearing his horrible music. Tell me what you think in the comments. I also added a change to the picture and added a Pygmie with a guitar.

State of The Island

Sorry I haven't been able to post lately, school is hell (I really mean it), so anyway enough of about school. If you haven't read the new State of The Island, here is a quote about it's new features and the sharks with friggin' lasers attached to thier heads (or what ever you guys call it, what I really care about is that it comes out soon).

"About the new update, this was a really fun one to program, the underwater area is getting jam packed with features which is a far cry from when we first added it. There is a function toggle where you can switch from Bait Master Anchor to the Chum Bucket. When you pick chum out of the bucket, the shark swims with full laser headgear and tries to eat the chum. You can hand the chum to a pygmy at which point they look around with a Panicked look on their face until the shark eats them along with the chum. Also, while the shark is on screen, you have a laser aimer that is controlled by the accelerometer, kind of like Doom Resurrection. You tilt aim the target, and zap as many Pygmies as you can. It's not really a game because it's really easy to play, but we are thinking of making a more challenging version in a future update. With this update, the underwater area is handled just like one of the islands, so you can use the island toggle to switch to underwater without having to do the tsunami and it remembers it you quit while underwater so it can start there when you come back. I put this part in because we will need it for the next update that contains the new location."

Oh and one more thing, Dave has submitted the update on sunday, but Apple wants $100 billion dollars to approve it or Mini Apple will despose of it.......... I say give them the money!

New Icon

Hey whats up? If you haven't seen this, this is the new icon for Episode 25: Sharks With Friggin' Lasers Attached To Their Heads! Looks really cool and fun, cant wait for it to come out! And if you still don't know, Dave twittered saying that he already submitted Episode 25! It should come out next week, and i can't wait to finally see the idols!

1. Eaten by shark underwater
2. Blasted by shark
3. Most shark blasts (mini-game)

The Great, The Good, and The Bad

Sorry I haven't been able to post the last three days, due to the fact my parents drove me all the way to Bakersfield for a party(FYI, wasn't worth it). Ok, so down to buisness.
The Great: My blog was posted on one of the best Pocket God blogs..... P.O.C.K.E.T.G.O.D.S! They have posted about my blog on two of there posts (And hopefully I get some more followers now).

The Good: For most of you who still dont know what SWFLBATTH, it's episode 25: Sharks With Friggin' Laser Beams Attached To Their Heads, and for those of you who haven't gone to Youtube, I've posted two videos of what they mean. Dave also announced that episode 25 is almost complete.

The Bad: All things must come to an end, thats right Summer is over and it's time to hit the books (Literally..... I mean it) I will try to post more and more but thats not guarantied due to the educational system. Alright then, thats it for now.

The Next Update Is Called ....

Everyone has been waiting, and listening for the next updates title, but its no secret now, it will now be called Episode 25: Sharks With Friggin Laser Beams Attached to Their Heads!! Can someone say Austin Powers: Goldmember? I will post a picture that I will make on the blog later on.

Solution

Currently people haven't been able to to play Pocket God after updating to Idle Hands 2 due to crashes, but Dave and Allan have come up with a solution with Apple that is to go back to episode 23: Bait Master, it should be up in 24 hours. On the plus side, Idle Hands 2 and My Old Chum! (That's what I call due to the chum bucket in the next update) will come out together( Just like episode 12 and 13)! Episode 23 Is out but......

The update is finally out but their is a problem ..... IT CRASHES!!!! When you sync it into your iPod or iPhone, you reboot your device, touch on the Pocket God icon and wait for it to CRASH again!

I was hoping to challenge my friends today in the minigames but I can wait for Bolt Creative to fix the little situation.

Glitch!

I was going thru Pocket God GlitchSpot ( Click on the name to go to their site) and i found a cool glitch that involves the Bait Master Update. What you basically do is start the Bait Master minigame, and when the piranhas come out touch the piranha and statue, pygmie, or anchor at the same time and the piranha will go on a never ending line ride until two piranhas touch (I got the picture from P.O.C.K.E.T.G.O.D.S).

Oh No!

I was recently on Twitter, where Dave said that the next update might take 13 days to be approved( so it might come out at the end of this week!) But hopefully it comes out tomorrow! But on the plus side, The update after this one finally has the shark underwater, I think you summon the shark by using a Chum Bucket! And they updated Wikipedia saying that the update after that one might be an Ice Island with Penguins!!

Next Updates

Here are the next two updates for Pocket God that I got off of Wikipedia, in the update after Idle Hands 2: Caught With Your Pants Down, they will finally add the shark to the underwater area and another minigame (I think). The next update after that their is going to be another island, hope they could consider my idea for an update below! And also Bolt Creative has already submitted Idle Hands 2: Caught With Your Pants Down and they expect it to come out around Monday or Tuesday (hopefully)!

Update Idea 2

I had another update idea (I know people have been asking for it, but it's different) it could be called "Monkey See, Pygmie Do", in this update a new island is now accessible, the island has bushes and a banana tree, tap on the bushes a few times and watch a monkey come out and run around. Put a banana on the ground watch the monkey try to grab it, if a pygmie is in the way the monkey will push him off the island. Also, if the monkey doesn't get what he wants, and he'll start to cry and call his Dad, and then the monkey goes back in the bushes and a bigger, buffer monkey comes out and beats up the pygmies, but the pygmies can fight back with the spear. Please tell me what you think of my idea in the comments. I also added a geyser, that would be sweet!!!

District 9

District 9 is finally out, after weeks of waiting the movie is out in theaters. For those of you don't know what it's about, aliens that landed on Earth, 28 years ago, are forced to live in a area in Africa known as District 9, they are forced to work for little pay or no pay at all. There is also a rumor that the amount that this movie makes, might affect if their is going to be a Halo movie next year!

Idle Hands 2

I recently saw the new post by Dave on Touch Arcade the link is right here: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=21869. So the winners of the Idle Hands 2 contest were Adam Jaffe (Beat Chest), Sam Greenwood (Pull bone out of hair, hair falls in face, puts it back up), Seth Horinouchi (Sneezing) Brandon and Derek (Thought bubbles), and Liam (Skirt falls to ground, Pygmy picks up embarassed) Congrats!!

Car Jack Streets

I recently bought Car Jack Streets for my iPod, and im going to say that it is a load of fun. The story is that your gambling has gotten a bit to far and the Mob want's you to pay up $1,000,000, and you have to give them $50,000 a week, which gives you a reason to come back to it. The gameplay is really good and the design of the game is nice, could use more vehicles and missions, but you still reach your weekly quota. Their are a few bugs but it doesn't really affect gameplay, it's currently on sale for $ 2.99, and their is also a lite version of the game, so check it out.
P.S. Has Bolt Creative submitted their update for Pocket God yet?

Bait Master Is Out!! (Sorry I'm Late)

I haven't been on iTunes in a while so I didn't know it came out, but I downloaded it last night and played the game until 1 a.m., and I think this is the best minigame so far on Pocket God. Oh and also try to beat my score of 82!!

Dues Ex Machinima

I was going thru youtube for some entertainment, when i found a cool little series of videos called Dues Ex Machinima, it was made with the Halo 3 Game ( can't wait for Halo 3 ODST) and it was made by a guy who goes by the name of Digital Ph33r, You guys should Check it Out! I wish the y finished the series Though!! And also it does contain cursing and violence.
